Chef Mariano Aguirre has reinvented the original Avenue M menu, combining the classic steakhouse favorites and eclectic American cuisine with innovative, new dishes. Chef Aguirre’s new menu includes ten prime cuts cooked to perfection, as well as a variety of fresh seafood and pasta dishes. Avenue M features specials that reflect the season, as well as Aguirre’s inventive capabilities.

Ingredients
Salad:
3 Belgian endive leaves
handful of mesclun greens
1 oz. goat cheese
Dijon Vinaigrette Dressing:
1/4 cup sherry vinegar
3/4 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon chopped shallot
1 teaspoon chopped Italian parsley
salt and pepper to taste
Method
1) Combine dressing ingredients in a jar with a lid and shake until combined.
2) Place goat cheese in oven for two minutes to warm.
To Serve
Arrange endive on plate in a three point star. Add a handful of greens on top. Place warm goat cheese on top of the greens. Drizzle dressing over the entire dish.
